ViewSonic to Unveil XG240R at ESGS 2018

ViewSonic International Corp., a leading global provider of visual display solutions, will be attending the 2018 ESGS event (E-Sports and Gaming Summit), one of the biggest gaming conventions in Philippines from the 26th – 28th of October, 10am to 7pm. Visitors of the ViewSonic booth will have the opportunity to catch a preview of the upcoming XG240R, showcasing its RGB compatibility with the Thermaltake TT RGB PLUS Ecosystem for the first time to the general public. ViewSonic’s gaming monitor lineup will also be showcased for gamers to experience, along with interesting on-site activities opened to all participants.
The 24” XG240R features a competitive 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync anti-tearing technology, ensuring users are given a fully immersive gaming experience. “We are looking forward to giving gamers at ESGS a sneak-peek at our first software compatible RGB monitor. It’s an exciting opportunity,” said Kevin Chu, Global Gaming Manager. “Thermaltake has been a great partner and we can’t wait to show what we have planned for the future.”
The XG240R is scheduled for an official release in January, 2019.

This year, ViewSonic will showcase several high-performance gaming monitors. The sibling series XG240R, XG2402, XG2401 feature designs with full ergonomics for the competitive gamers out there, in addition to a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync to ensure that graphics run smoothly without lag during gameplay; extra features such as Elite RGB lighting integration and rampage lighting are featured on the 240R and 2402, respectively. Capping off the XG product line is the XG2703-GS, equipped with a gaming-friendly IPS panel behind a 2560 x 1440 QHD display with G-Sync, a 165Hz refresh rate, and an ergonomic stand.
Gamers seeking a more immersive experience can try out the VX58 series curved monitors at the ViewSonic booth. Featuring an 1800R curvature screen for tear-free immersive gaming experience, the screen sizes vary from 24-inch, 27-inch, to 32-inch, with an ultra-fast 1ms response time particularly on the 24-inch monitor. Moreover, a 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync are ubiquitously in place for the three monitors to take your gaming experience to a new level. Lastly, for competitive console gamers, the VX2457-MHD offer monitors that are equipped with AMD FreeSync, 1ms response time and low input lag to ensure lag-free gaming advantage.
