City of Dreams partners with Bandai Namco to launch The Garage, first VR Zone & Food Park in the Philippines

Virtual Reality was just a dream for gamers before, but the advancements of technology have finally made this dream into reality.


And City of Dreams, one of the most luxurious Resort, Hotel, & Casino in the Philippines, had just revealed their first VR attraction, “The Garage”. The new attraction was made possible by a partnership between City of Dreams and Bandai Namco Entertainment, which brought in Mario Kart Racing, Hospital Escape Terror, and Ski Rodeo to the Garage VR library.

“The Garage is City of Dreams Manila’s latest attraction featuring unique entertainment activities in partnership with Bandai Namco Amusement. With their creativity and cutting-edge technology, we are honored and delighted to partner with them, and together blaze a trail in delivering extraordinary entertainment experiences that go beyond gaming and recreation in the Philippines,” Kevin Benning, City of Dreams Manila’s Chief Operating Officer said.

“Bandai Namco Amusement is honored to partner with luxury integrated resort City of Dreams Manila and bring to this exciting destination our first VR Zone entertainment facility in Southeast Asia. We hope to bring outside of Japan an immersive, multi-sensory and fun activities to Filipinos and foreign guests with our unique VR activities at The Garage,” Kunihisa Yagisita, Bandai Namco’s General Manager stated.


A single game of any of the titles mentioned above will last for about 6 – 9 minutes. The ticket for each game costs 450 PHP and 1200 PHP for three activities. Group packages for each title are also available, a group of two for Ski Rodeo costs 800 PHP, while groups of four for Mario Kart and Hospital Escape Terror will cost 1600 PHP.


The Garage is not just a place for premium VR experience, but is also a space for food lovers who want to try different cuisines in a lively ambiance. Food stalls systematically surrounds the VR zone, so when hunger strikes, one can just choose from the wide-range of cuisines offered by the stalls. There’s Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Vietnamese, American, and Filipino cuisines ready to satisfy appetites. Below are the food and beverage outlets that you will find at the Garage:

The Garage will officially open on October 14, 2018. Located at the Upper Ground level, The Garage will operate from 10AM to 2AM. Entrance is free, but be ready to spend some cash, because the food is nothing but irresistible and the VR experience — astonishing.
