AMD Enthusiasts Gathering 2019: Overclocking and Modding Basics

February 4, 2019 0 By Reyjon Oregas

As part of AMD’s marketing efforts, and also to reach out and give back to their loyal fans, AMD has penned down ‘Enthusiast Gatherings’ all through out the year.

This year, however, AMD takes a different approach in the said yearly gatherings, as they invited professional PC modders – Mike Samsin, Mickee Lacerna, and Homer Dikitanan – to discuss about basic PC modding and CPU overclocking.

Mike Samsin and Mickee Lacerna are well-known Philippine-based PC modders who have bagged numerous international PC modding awards, while Homer Dikitanan is famous for his unmatched cable sleeving skills.

AMD also tapped their AIB partners – Gigabyte, Asrock, XFX, Sapphire, and MSI – to showcase their AMD-based offerings at the event for attendees to check out and test. With their branded setups, AIB partners showcased how capable AMD processors and Radeon graphics cards are on AAA titles.

AMD Gatherings usually have limited slots, so its best to register as early as possible if you want to secure a pass. The schedules would be posted on the AMD page and according to their Philippines marketing arm, there are 5 more enthusiasts gatherings penned down for the year, so you’d better keep your eyes peeled for that.
