At the Next@Acer 2019 event, Acer revealed its ConceptD lineup that’s geared towards versatile and graphics hungry professionals. The ConceptD includes Concept D5, Concept D7, and ConceptD 9, which are all powered by only the latest generation of components. At the helm of the ConceptD line is the ConceptD 9 with its swivel 4K UHD display and a stylus pen that’s meant for quick sketches, collaborations, and presentations.

But, what really captured our eyes while watching Next@Acer 2019 was the reveal of the ConceptD 900, a desktop powered by not one, but two of the latest generation Intel Xeon Processors and Nvidia’s Quadro RTX 6000 graphics card. If the processors will be from the Platinum or Xeon W lineup then the total core count could sum up to 56-cores, while if it’s from the Xeon E line then the total core count could be up to 12-cores. ConceptD 900 doesn’t lack in expandability as it is vastly upgradeable in terms of memory and storage as it is built with 12 memory slots and 5 drive bays.

UPDATE: The ConceptD 900 will feature two Intel Xeon Gold 6148 processors that sum a total of 40 Cores.

The new Acer ConceptD has no price yet as of this writing. We will update this with more information and pricing as soon as it becomes available.
