Morpho to Showcase its Desktop UV Printer at IFA 2026
August 25, 2026Morpho, a creator-focused hardware innovation company, today announced the launch of its flagship desktop UV printing system, designed to bring industrial-grade fabrication power to artists, makers, and small businesses in a desktop-friendly form. Morpho’s system is built on a simple vision: the ultimate desktop UV printer for today, expandable for the creative needs of tomorrow.
Morpho’s origin story is personal. “I wanted to create a customized print for my daughter’s school presentation, but I quickly realized professional UV printing wasn’t accessible to everyday users,” says Mingyu (Brett) Wang, Morpho’s Founder & CEO and former VP of R&D at DJI. “The market offered either large industrial machines or desktop systems that were difficult to use, high-maintenance, and unsuitable for home environments. We founded Morpho to change that by making professional-grade UV printing intuitive, reliable, and accessible to anyone with a creative idea.”
Industrial-Grade, Creator-First

Morpho’s desktop UV printer is designed to strip away the complexity and heavy maintenance of typical industrial equipment, repackaging professional-level fabrication into an approachable tool for creators and small businesses. The system makes it possible to produce vibrant, custom objects, whether for one-off art pieces or short-run commercial projects.
Open Platform for Endless Possibilities
At the heart of Morpho’s innovation is an open, expandable ecosystem. The system supports user-developed custom jigs and workflows, an open, refillable ink system, and future expansion via hardware and software. This enables creators to produce on a wide variety of surfaces—from wood and leather to glass and flexible films—without being locked into proprietary consumables or limited accessories.
Less Maintenance, More Creation

Morpho’s proprietary NoClog™ Maintenance System and EcoInk™ technology dramatically reduce downtime and cut the cost and hassle of maintenance. By addressing common pain points like white ink sedimentation and printhead corrosion, Morpho keeps creators focused on what matters most: their work.
Morpho aims to deliver an industrial-grade blueprint that makes desktop UV fabrication easier, safer, and more accessible—unlocking the creative potential of global makers and small businesses.
Morpho launched via crowdfunding on Kickstarter last August 20, 2026, with early-bird pricing for launch supporters. For more information and updates, stay tuned to their official website and Kickstarter page.
