CES 2018: Next Generation Ryzen Processors To Launch In February

January 10, 2018 0 By Reyjon Oregas
At CES 2018, AMD, one of the leading CPU manufacturers, has unveiled their newest Ryzen processors that will be released this coming February (most probably the new processors will be available in our country in March).

Two new processors will take center stage on the said month, the Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G. The new processors will carry integrated Vega graphics that will surely be more than enough for eSports titles and would be able to handle some higher tier titles. These processors will still be compatible with the present motherboards A320, B350, and X370. There should be a BIOS update for the current motherboards to support the upcoming Ryzen 2000 series processors. We suggest that you check with your motherboard manufacturer for further information regarding the BIOS update or if your motherboard is updated to support the upcoming Ryzen processors.

Along with the launch of the new processors is the news floating around the net that there will be a price cut-down for the current Ryzen lineup and one model from the Threadripper line. The price-cut will be seen in September, but there are no news if it will be carried out here in our country (will update this once the price-cut is confirmed for our country).

Looking forward to see more of the Ryzen 2nd Generation processors in the coming months and we are pretty sure that these processors will be an eye-candy to iCafe owners and to budget-conscious gamers.
